Find out more about our four award levels and what our members have to do to achieve them
Badges on member websites should be clickable and link to a confirmation page on DJmark showing the same company details. They will show the company name and a 5-digit membership number, as per the examples below. Sadly we occasionally find non-members using badges without permission in an attempt to mislead their potential customers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Any UK-based mobile disco provider can join the DJmark scheme, and if they are successful in achieving one of our awards we will promote them on our website and allow them to use our branding on their own marketing materials.
Entry-level awards are available to DJs that can demonstrate they have current Public Liability Insurance, Portable Appliance Tests undertaken within the last 12 months, supply a sample of their contracts/terms & conditions and issue these for any bookings we introduce them to.
Gold Awards are available to DJs that meet the requirements for our entry-level award (above) AND have received verified positive feedback within the last 3 years - they must also maintain a specific ratio of positive to negative feedback if they have any.
Platinum Awards are available to DJs that meet the requirements for Gold (above) AND have supplied a Health & Safety method statement PLUS copies of written risk assessments for three events undertaken in the first 12 months AND THEN written risk assessments for any bookings we introduce them to. The ratio of positive to negative feedback is also lower.
Diamond Awards are available to DJs that have continued to meet the requirements for Platinum (above) for a period of at least 12 MONTHS, AND have supplied a copy of a written complaints procedure. The ratio of positive to negative feedback is lowest of all the awards.
Pretty much ANYTHING!
DJmark Award Holders are well suited to the most important events you can imagine, offering a high level of professionalism and experience - such as weddings, special birthdays and anniversaries, corporate events and more.
However they are also just as proficient at general parties such as social events, anniversaries, engagements, Christenings/baptisms, children's parties, school discos and pretty much any event or celebration that needs musical entertainment or a master of ceremonies.
Not at all!
Whilst the scheme tends to attract the most professional DJs which might skew the averages slightly, we regularly see our DJs being booked for a wide range of events, from children's birthday parties in village halls right the way up to lavish weddings in castles.
We do not charge a commission or finders fee for introducing clients to our DJs - just a small annual subscription that the DJ pays us. That subscription covers the complex administration involved in managing the vetting process and checking paperwork and feedback, so that you don't have to. For example, many venues require copies of the DJ's insurance documents and electrical test certificates in advance - DJmark members will liaise with your venue directly and provide these as a matter of course. One less thing for you to worry about!
